St. Louis, MO--(August 22, 2008) The Winners of the 29th Annual Telly Awards have been announced and St. Louis-based Weintraub Advertising has won two awards for excellence in television commercial production. With 13,500 entries from all 50 states and around the world, this year's competition has been one of the most competitive and successful in the long history of the Telly Awards.
Weintraub Advertising submitted commercials for their national retail client Flooring America with 600 stores in North America, and St. Louis-based, Jaffe Lighting, Inc. According to Rob Weintraub, President and Creative Director of Weintraub Advertising, "both commercials effectively use humor to convey their message. In addition, both have been very successful for our clients in generating traffic and sales. It is an honor to be recognized by the advertising industry for the work we do. Both spots were conceived by Weintraub and Production Manager Bryan Bossart, and both were shot locally in St. Louis. "These commercials represent the spectrum of what we do" says Bossart. "Our Flooring America commercial required a much larger budget, professional actors and crew, while the Jaffe Lighting spot was shot on a shoestring budget utilizing the store owners as the on-screen talent".
